简介:Disabled older people are a vulnerable group of society, and this trend continues in China. Disability rights for senior people are mostly a concern in rural low-income communities and metropolitan areas with limited social security. Chinese urban and rural areas are regulated by a dual system based on household registration, which, along with the struggle between family finances and human decency, has made protecting older disabled people’s rights and interests difficult.
